Catch-up

This post goes from most recent to the past. I just wanted to do one big catch-up post, so here goes!

Easton is almost 9 months old

I love these two together!

 Porter is 3.5 now!

 Easton's 1st haircut!

We told Porter to go get dressed and this is how he came out!

Porter is struggling with listening to us, so we came up with some motivation. Every time he listens he gets to put a cheerio in a container and when it is full he gets to go on a date with Mom and Dad. It took him a long time to earn this date, but he did! We took him to a Fair in the parking lot of Frys. It was perfect, no lines and kiddie rides for him! he loved it. We loved seeing him have so much fun! His favorite ride was undoubtedly the tractors!

He even got to buy his own tickets!

We love seeing Hot Air balloons!

 Easton is 8 months

Porter always wants his tools close by!

Dad giving the boys a "ride"!

These pictures were taken in our backyard in Feb. Crazy that spring comes that early! The leaves literally fell off and then started budding!

Porter learned how to ride his bike that he got for Christmas

Shane and Porter planting seeds for the garden

These were taken in our backyard-we love leaves!

I can't figure out how to rotate this in blogger.

"helping" Dad work on the garden

This is what Porter carries around. He ALWAYS has some "stuff" in bags/boxes. It is sort of strange, but it is Porter and we love it!  Notice how weird all the "stuff" is....empty floss container, electrical outlet safety cover, hanger,.....lots of random pieces of toys. we love just looking through the bags he carries  around. Lately he likes my cell phone manual and the Book of Mormon. We love him!
We love going to see the Temple lights during Christmas!

Christmas in Tucson

Porter got a remote control car-he loved it.

There was a lot of Rock band too.

Easton ate solids for the 1st time. He did not like them.

Payson and I playing the game we got her.

Pajamas from Grandma Nan, Thanks again Nan!

I attempted to make stockings, one for me and one for Shane, it did not work....Porter thought they were boots so he wore them around :)

We met Jake for the first time-He is SO cute. We loved seeing the Skinners on their to visit Arizona.

The kids had so much fun together!

Grace is very photogenic, I learned.
 What a handsome little boy!

 Thanksgiving in Fredonia

yep, this was the best photo we took!
We got to visit Cedar City too. I got to see my good friend Hollie. She is amazing. She told me she had breast cancer just hours before I heard about the Plane crash. Both of our lives changed forever. We were doing out undergraduate research project together and through the craziness of both of our lives, we both finished our project, presented at an International Sports Nutrition Conference in Las Vegas, and graduated, thanks to divine help! Hollie just recently got re diagnosed with stage 4 liver Cancer. She is such a fighter. I am impressed by her positive attitude, her sense of humor, her example of a loving wife and mother. She is amazing. I am so lucky to know her and to be such good friends with her. I love you Hollie! We will continue to pray for you and your family!

Bowling with Hannah, Chris, Grandpa Mark and Grandma LynAnn. Porter loved it!

Love his walk :)
Watching Uncle Chris fly his model airplane

Porter watching Chris again-he loves being with him :)

Last time to see Macey, She was put down recently due to her poor legs never healing completely after being hit by a car. Porter still talks about Macey and loves to sing about how much he loves her! She will be missed.

Maegan was so sweet to read to Porter and Grandma Nan

Porter and Quintin are cousins and the best of friends! They are just a few months apart and have so much fun playing together.

Playing in the Leaves at Grandma Tait's

We saw a bunch of Deer, this is one of them.

 Easton's 1st Halloween

 Porter carving a pumpkin

yep, Porter didn't do that....Shane did! He did GOOD!

 Porter loved trick-or-treating

We went to Sedona for our 1st wedding Anniversary in September. We loved it! It is gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice.

 this is the sweetest picture!

This tree was the most gorgeous tree I have ever seen! The contrast of the blackened trunk and the beautiful golden leaves was amazing. Seriously, you had to see it in person!

 Love these two!

Porter really was walking like this...it is not staged. I can tell he felt cool in those glasses!

Porter turned 3 in October, where has the time gone?!

Marie, Hannah, and Chris sent Porter a surprise birthday gift. He LOVED it. It was all tractor stuff, he was SO excited. Thank you guys again!

we took Porter to a Corn maze-he had So much fun!

Porter is HUGE compared to Easton. I can't believe he used to be that small.

Easton's blessing happened in August. My friend Jerrae came and took these photos-Thanks Jerrae, we love them!

Easton with his Great Grandma Patty
 Easton with Aunt Payson

All the Cousins! We are so glad the Fords could come down! Here is our nephew Camryn, what a cutie! He and Easton will become great friends :)

LynAnn, Mark and Grandma Jane came into town and we got to have dinner with them!

Porter was taking a baseball class back in the fall. He loved it.

Aunt Dalyn and Easton. We will miss seeing her all the time when she moves to Salt Lake in  few weeks.
